Red Truck

In 1979, I was at the beginning of a "career" (one of many) in the Federal Government and I didn't get a chance to paint on site for many years as I coped with the press of career and home. In 1987, we moved to Northern Virginia and I was captured by the rolling landscape. Red Truck (1988) captures water in another form - snow! Notice the salmon haze that hangs in the background of the sky. This is probably due to smog, but I loved the colors in this scene, punctuated by the red pickup truck.
