The Washington National Cathedral

In 1996, I was given an one-person show at the Venable-Neslage gallery in DC (since closed). I wanted some local landmarks in the show like this one of The Washington National Cathedral (1996). I've included this painting in the WaterForms show because I like it and it hasn't gotten a lot of display. My excuse for inclusion is the clouds, which rear above all and contrast so nicely in their fluidity with the rigid and detailed manmade structure of the cathedral.
