The Day I Fell In

The Day I Fell In (2006) was painted along the Potomac above Great Falls (fortunately nowhere near the rapids). I was painting with my godchild Claire from California and I stepped back (on a muddy bank) to look at the painting, and Oops! I was in up to my ankles and had to be hauled out. The widening pool you see in the painting is NOT me. Really. This painting is just for fun.
