Dune House, Bethany Beach was painted in 1979. We spent some time that summer in Bethany Beach, Delaware. This house just showed over the dunes at the end of Atlantic Avenue. The water is absent, just implied. It's over the next hill. Or, if you can see it, the water is in the mist in the air. See the mist?
