Riverbend Park, October 05 (2005) is a return to on site (or "plein air") painting as a result of the end of my latest "career". I worked as a technical writer and graphic designer from 1999 to 2004, and, though it was closer to my real love than previous careers, perhaps that made it harder on me in a way. Finding a "painting buddy"(Jack Warden) and getting out to paint on site was very satisfying.
