This retains its freshness, I think, because it was done reapidly, in one sitting. The paint is very thin, however. In my later painting, I tend to work longer at building a surface.
This painting was chosen for the cover photo by Elan Magazine, which included a four-page article on my art in its April, 2009 issue.
