Vale Schoolhouse, Oakton VA
This is a historic site along Vale Road in Oakton, VA. I liked the simple little schoolhouse with the long path and green green lawn. I believe that it's currently being used by an art group in the Oakton area.
I submitted this painting as one of two paintings to the "Founders Show" of the League of Reston Artists at the Reston Community Center (April 2010). It and the other painting, "Splash" were both awarded Honorable Mention.
